As part of the Keck Advancement team, the Senior Director, Prospect Development, will partner closely with Keck Advancement leadership, fundraisers, and staff to lead operational support for Keck's top fundraising priorities. Reporting to the Senior Associate Vice President of Development, this role oversees prospect development, strategy, and engagement, coordinating complex processes and projects to ensure best practices and maximize efficiencies. The Senior Director will lead the Keck Advancement Services team, participate in strategic decision-making, and model leadership that fosters a collaborative, positive, and inclusive team culture. This position is hybrid on-site and employees must report to work at the USC Health Science Campus in Los Angeles, CA when scheduled. Work hours and on-site days may be subject to change depending on business needs. The annual budgeted salary range for this position is$115,000 - $155,000 When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations. Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree Addtional Education Requirements Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education Minimum Experience: 10 years 3 years of management experience. Addtional Experience Requirements Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum work experience Minimum Skills: Experience in development, maintaining meaningful relationships with a wide variety of internal/external stakeholders. Ability to self-manage, prioritize work assignments and manage multiple deadlines. Experience maintaining and interpreting large datasets and database systems. Excellent planning, organizational and interpersonal skills. Detail oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Preferred Education: Master's degree In Business Administration Or in related field(s) Preferred Experience: 10 years Preferred Skills: Development experience in higher education. Experience in management/leadership roles. Volunteer experience in fundraising, campaign or non-profit environments. Experience with email marketing, website development/coding and Adobe Creative Suite. Extensive customer service experience. Fluent in one or more language in addition to English (e.g., Spanish).
