As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, issue badges, and manage entry points while supporting security-related procedures. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce incidents, and communicate clearly with site leaders and team members. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization, issuing temporary badges or visitor passes when directed, and maintaining visitor and contractor logs per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including communicating with site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, staging areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Complete timely reports and documentation such as shift activity logs, incident reports, and access control records, and communicate relevant updates during post handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
