You will complete vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access points with clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to identify unusual conditions, hazards, and security-related concerns, reporting findings per post orders.
  • Monitor access control points and security-related systems such as CCTV and alarm panels as assigned, verifying authorization, maintaining visitor and vendor logs, and directing traffic and deliveries per site rules.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site contacts and public responders when needed and documenting actions taken.
  • Complete security-related reports and daily activity logs, communicate relevant information during shift turnovers, and assist with audits and compliance checks as directed by site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
