Job Description




As a Security Officer - HOA Patrol Driver in Royal Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a residential community, where you will perform routine patrols, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to resident and visitor needs with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post, using a company-approved vehicle to check community areas, support access control points, and document observations. You will thrive in a caring, agile team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential community areas, amenity spaces, and perimeter points to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and community gates as assigned, verify authorization for entry, and assist with visitor management and directions while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Respond to alarms, calls for service, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, and request additional support from local emergency services when appropriate.
  • Complete security-related reports and activity logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate pertinent information to supervisors, property management, and/or oncoming personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1+ years of security experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
