As a Security Officer - Residential Gatehouse in Naples, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a residential community, you will support access control at entry points, greet residents and guests, verify credentials, manage visitor logs, and help guide deliveries to the right locations. You will conduct routine rounds of assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with residents, staff, and emergency responders. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at vehicle and pedestrian entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor passes, managing guest lists, and directing authorized traffic flow.
• Monitor access control systems, gates, and alarms; document unusual activity and report concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting medical or fire response until relieved by appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
