Job Description




As a Security Officer - Armed Clinic Patrol in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with calm, clear communication. This post requires an armed guard card/license. You will build trust through strong customer service while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, donors, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct armed patrol duties in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws, helping to discourage unauthorized activity while maintaining a professional, calm presence.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical facility disturbances, access concerns, and suspicious activity, and coordinate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, parking areas, and perimeter, including interior rounds of donor areas, administrative spaces, and restricted zones as directed by post orders.
  • Complete detailed reports of daily activity, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate status updates to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An armed guard card and/or license is required.
  • A minimum of 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
