Your role

Mission

As the VP, Business Line Manager - CTS Sales, you will report to the President/General Manager.

Responsible to implement and develop growth strategies to optimize the CTS product portfolio, guiding and inspiring the sales team to achieve ambitious targets according to CTS KPI's and move up / grow the service ladder to realize the full potential.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Successfully develop the Atlas Copco Compressor service business over the indirect and direct channel and support e-commerce platform/activities. The focus is set on strengthening relationships with customers, implementing strategies and optimizing product portfolios, guiding and inspiring the Atlas Copco Compressors service sales team to further grow 1:1 ratio, Service Plan growth, and sales of Atlas Copco parts. Responsible for the CTS P&L (profit and loss). Set targets with the President/General Manager and the relevant Division(s) within Atlas Copco. The targets should cover top line, market contribution, and gross profit. Work in close cooperation with OES, CTS operation & tech support, equipment divisions, communications team to develop the most successful marketing strategy / campaigns to increase lead generation.

As part of HOY management team, strong collaboration amongst peers is a must in delivering customer experience excellence.

Must demonstrate excellence in leading, developing, and inspiring regional sales/marketing teams. Responsible for defining training and development plans for direct sales, distributor sales, marketing, and/or applications/contract teams, as relevant. Analyze results and define action plans when results are deviating from the set targets. Responsible for following up and increasing salesforce efficiency. Responsible for further developing existing relationships and increasing dealer-share with our partners by implementation and follow-up of a loyalty plan. Must define strategies to further develop market coverage through efficient territory management and organization setup, and effective distribution channels to make sure the regions continue and grow. Ensure sales teams effectively adopt and use sales tools, CRM platform, IQ2, smartlink or any other in the future.

Maintain close relationship with the relevant Division, and the local marketing team to develop and implement marketing plans and give feedback on product and market trends and competitor development activities.

Provide reporting on the local and Group level including monthly reporting and business and company review meetings. Lead business review meetings with the Divisions including preparation and presentation for topics sales development, sales-actions, dealer-development, and salesmen-efficiency. Contribute as a member of the local management team to the efficient, flexible, and competent management of the company to maximize the potential of all products and brands. Ensure that "The Way We Do Things" and "Business code of practice" is followed.

The following competencies and requirements are essential: A proven track record in sales and/or marketing of compressor equipment, strong in developing business strategies, previous experience in P&L of a business, and a proven track record in people management.

Contribute to positive Company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-oriented image to customers.

Perform all duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer.

Take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done and to establish and maintain communications with all people/employees considered necessary to get the job done.

Experience:

5-10 years of progressive sales management experience in industrial compressor industry, preferably within the Atlas Copco Group.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent work experience; MBA preferred, or equivalent mix of education and/or experience.

Skills:

Must have skills in sales through distributors, development of distribution networks, and territory management activities. Must have great communication skills - written and spoken, as well as relationship building skills, negotiation skills, and self-drive. Must be results-oriented, self- motivated and proactive. Team spirit and good communication skills are essential. Must be efficient in Microsoft Office programs, Lotus Notes, and other web applications. Extensive travel required. Must have a valid driver's license.

Hybrid position:
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Rock Hill, SC Corporate office.
