As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to calls for service, and provide professional customer service and communication to site personnel and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aero/defense location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter checkpoints to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations; working conditions may vary by assignment.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, manage visitor sign-in, and direct traffic flow per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting details, and coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
• Complete security-related reports such as daily activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate pertinent information during shift turnovers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
