As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support store teams with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical situations, disturbances, and property damage.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, back-of-house areas, and exterior perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help identify suspicious activity and support loss prevention objectives.
• Observe and report potential theft-related activity, policy violations, and other security-related concerns to site leadership and/or law enforcement as directed by post orders.
• Assist with customer issues such as providing directions, helping to de-escalate conflicts, and supporting orderly lines during peak shopping periods.
• Control access to restricted areas such as stock rooms, receiving docks, and office spaces by verifying authorization and following sign-in and/or badge procedures.
• Complete detailed written reports of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities, and maintain accurate logs as required.
• Work with store associates and management on security-related concerns, including coordinated response to alarms, calls for service, and closing and/or opening routines.
• Operate and/or observe security-related equipment such as radios, access control systems, and CCTV when assigned, and report equipment issues promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
