As a Security Officer - Data Center Patrol Driver in Morrisville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. This is a driving post, so you will use a company-approved vehicle to patrol larger areas, support access control, and document activity using site systems. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a technology office location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and interior areas by observing activity, verifying credentials when required, and assisting with visitor sign-in and/or directions according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete routine reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes using required tools, supporting accurate communication and continuity of operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
