Job Description




As a Security Officer - Clearance-Required Patrol Driver in Englewood, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed, driving patrol officer at a leading tech location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, respond to alarms and service requests, and communicate clearly with onsite teams. You will support a culture that is agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first, delivering through teamwork and acting with integrity while creating a positive experience for everyone onsite.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to site employees, contractors and/or visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, labs, parking areas and perimeter points, noting hazards, irregular activity and/or unsecured doors to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor traffic, verify credentials and/or badges as required, and assist with directing authorized personnel to appropriate locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from on-site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Complete detailed shift activity reports, incident documentation and patrol logs, and communicate observations and handoff information to Allied Universal supervision and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
