As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, support access control, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will provide clear communication and customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while documenting concerns and escalating issues as needed. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter doors to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, disorderly persons, and assistance with lost and found and/or patient-visitor concerns.
  • Monitor access points and secured areas by observing alarms, cameras, and control panels as assigned, and report maintenance issues such as broken locks, propped doors, and/or lighting outages through proper channels.
  • Document activities, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate timely updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of 2+ years of security experience.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • CPR Certification is preferred.
  • Access Control and/or Badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
