As a Security Officer Warehouse Patrol Security Clearance in Melbourne, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms, access concerns, and service requests. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and use computer-based tools to support daily operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking lots, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Control access at entrances and vehicle gates by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, directing deliveries to designated areas, and documenting inbound and outbound traffic per post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and/or public responders as required and preserving incident details for follow-up.
• Complete detailed shift activity logs and incident reports, monitor cameras and/or alarm panels as assigned, and communicate clearly with supervisors and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Military/Security Experience OR a College Degree.
• Maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be 21+ Years of Age.
• Preferred: Be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Preferred: Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
