As an Access Control Officer, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage badges and visitor access, and perform routine patrols throughout the location. You will remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms and reports, and deliver clear, respectful customer service to guests and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, contractors and/or vendors while carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control entry and exit at assigned access points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials and/or directing guests to sign-in requirements in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor alarms, cameras and/or access control systems; report unusual activity and document observations using required logs and incident reports.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with crowd flow and coordination with on-site personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random site patrols, noting hazards, unsecured doors and/or policy violations and reporting them to Allied Universal management and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
