Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Residential Site in Winthrop MA

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 12 AM - 8 AM and Friday, Saturday 4 PM - 12 AM

Starting Pay is $17.50 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training / DailyPay Available

As a Security Officer - Residential Front Desk in Winthrop, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a residential community, you will welcome residents and guests, manage access and visitor logs, answer calls, and respond to security-related concerns with calm, clear communication. You will be a visible, professional presence who helps support a positive living experience while documenting activity and escalating issues as needed. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Staff the front desk and help to deter unauthorized entry by greeting all entrants, verifying credentials as required, and directing visitors to appropriate locations.
  • Answer phones and respond to inquiries in a professional manner, relaying messages to on-site personnel as needed.
  • Monitor cameras and other building systems as assigned, reporting unusual activity and/or equipment concerns per post orders.
  • Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including visitor records, incident reports, and shift activity reports.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from property management and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Control keys, badges, and/or access devices as directed, issuing and collecting them according to site procedures.
  • Receive and route deliveries and packages in accordance with site-specific policies, assisting with vendor check-in as assigned.
  • Support resident needs at the front desk within scope, such as providing directions, coordinating with maintenance and/or management, and escalating issues that require additional attention.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
