Security Officer - Outlet Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Outlet Patrol Driver in West Covina, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed, driving patrol officer at a retail mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and foot rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and assist with customer service needs while communicating clearly with team members and site contacts. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, corridors, entrances, loading areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor for unusual activity, disturbances, and/or policy violations, help to deter theft and disruptive behavior, and document observations in written reports and activity logs.
• Support access control and incident response by observing deliveries and service activity, assisting with tenant and customer issues, and maintaining clear communication via phone, radio, and/or mobile applications.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
