Description
Are you interested in partnering closely with senior finance and investor relations leadership to help shape how the Company's strategy and performance are communicated to the investment community? As the Senior Investor Relations Analyst, you will work directly with the Vice President of Investor Relations and the Vice President of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to provide analytical and logistical support that ensures consistent, clear, and effective external messaging. You will contribute to the development and delivery of investor communications, presentations, digital materials, publications, and website content, while also supporting the maintenance of investor-facing platforms. The role also involves monitoring, analyzing, summarizing, and presenting industry and market data to support strategic decision-making and external reporting. Essential Functions
- Develop an understanding of key industry metrics and measurements (FFO, AFFO, NAV, Balance Sheet Metrics, Cost of Capital, Same Store growth, etc.) and assimilate these measurements into reports and analyses, which are communicated to Executive Management and various business units across the Company.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the Company's business units to assist in crafting the messaging of Company strategy to the investment community.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across business units to ensure accurate depictions of the Company's results and initiatives,
- Develop and enhance various analytical models in relation to Company and/or peer performance, high frequency economic data, and industry fundamentals.
- Assist in data collection, analysis, writing, editing, and maintenance of publications, presentations, and electronic media to ensure accurate and relevant messaging that supports the Company's goals.
- Evaluate qualitative and quantitative factors that influence the Company's strategy.
- Conduct analyses supporting short-term and long-term strategy to achieve objectives for growth and analyze profitability of such objectives.
- Monitor sell-side analyst, peer company, and industry reports and create written analysis on how the investment community views the Company, competitors, and our industry.
- Oversee consensus earnings estimates and review, critique, and report on sell-side analyst models.
- Actively engage with stakeholders, including sell-side analysts, shareholders, and potential shareholders, to ensure accurate understanding of the merits of investing in the Company's stock.
- Collaborate with colleagues across various departments to enhance the quarterly earnings process by reviewing financial data and contributing to the preparation of strategy documents.
- Partner in the management of the Company's earnings, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow forecast model.
- Prepare Board of Director presentations.
- Update and maintain investor relations website information.
- Coordinate and schedule investor conferences, road shows, or visits when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary.

- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to calculate and interpret commonly used financial concepts such as IRR, NPV, Return on Investment, and Balance Sheet metrics.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to prepare analyses, reports, and communication documents.
- Knowledge of computer systems and MS Office applications with particular importance on advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports. Knowledge of web technology at the business level.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree required with an emphasis in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, or marketing preferred.
- Financial market, real estate, and/or analytical experience is preferred.
- CFA designation or progress towards CFA designation is preferred.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license unless otherwise noted.
