Position Description

Represent Texas Tech University both on and off campus to prospective students, parents, staff, and faculty of colleges and universities to attract quality applicants and achieve enrollment goals. Coordinate and contribute to the success of various visit schedules for colleges and universities in the assigned area. Plan assigned recruiting events and programs. Counsel prospective applicants on the admissions process and opportunities at the university.

Major/Essential Functions


  • Represent TTU Online at in-person recruitment events, fairs, conferences, employer visits, and community engagement events to promote online graduate programs.
  • Engage prospective students through presentations, tabling, classroom visits, and professional networking opportunities.
  • Build awareness of TTU Online graduate programs by developing relationships with industry partners, community organizations, and regional stakeholders.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for prospective students, providing high-level program information and connecting them with Graduate Enrollment Service Specialists
  • Track engagement data, event attendance, follow-up interactions, and lead sources.
  • Deliver presentations that clearly communicate the value, flexibility, and career relevance of TTU Online graduate degrees.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of TTU Online offerings, general admission requirements, and university resources.
  • Monitor trends in adult learners, online education markets, and competitive institutions to inform recruitment strategies.
  • Participate in on-campus events designed to increase visibility and generate inquiries for TTU Online and represent TTU Online with professionalism and a student-centered outreach approach.
  • Coordinate with Undergraduate Online Recruitment to maintain consistent outreach practices, share trends, and ensure aligned messaging across TTU Online.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


  • Knowledge of graduate recruitment strategies and enrollment pipelines
  • Ability to represent the university professionally on and off campus
  • Strong relationship-building, outreach, and follow-up skills
  • Ability to counsel prospective graduate applicants on the admissions process -
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Experience in graduate level recruitment or admissions
  • Public relations or outreach experience
  • Ability to engage various student populations

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree plus one year related experience; OR a combination of education and/or related experience to equal five years.

This position requires eligibility to drive TTU vehicles, including a valid U.S. driver license and two years of driving experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in recruitment or admissions desirable, public relations experience.
