You will conduct routine foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and customer service. You will monitor assigned areas, follow site procedures, and report concerns promptly. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including calls for assistance, disturbances, and/or medical facility policy concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Control access at designated entrances and restricted areas by checking credentials, monitoring visitor flow, and/or supporting visitor management procedures.
• Monitor alarms, CCTV, and/or other surveillance or access control systems, escalating issues to Allied Universal supervision and/or site leadership as needed.
• Complete routine security-related reports and documentation, including shift logs, incident reports, and/or patient property or lost and found documentation when applicable.
• Assist with de-escalation of disruptive behavior using approved communication techniques and request additional support when needed.
• Support emergency procedures such as fire alarms, severe weather notifications, and/or evacuation support as directed by site protocols.
• Communicate clearly with hospital staff, Allied Universal leadership, and/or local responders to coordinate incident response and follow-up.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Allied Universal and/or site leadership in support of a professional healthcare environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
