You will observe activity, document findings, support access points as needed, and respond to requests with clear communication and customer-focused service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to facility employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, unusual conditions, and reports of suspicious activity.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or property damage.
  • Monitor access points, gates, and restricted areas; verify identification and/or work authorization as required by site procedures.
  • Control visitor and contractor entry by issuing credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing individuals to the appropriate location in accordance with site policy.
  • Perform vehicle patrols and/or foot patrols as assigned, documenting observations and escalating concerns through the established chain of communication.
  • Observe and report conditions that may impact facility operations, including unsecured doors, damaged fencing, lighting outages, and other irregularities.
  • Receive and dispatch calls for service using radios, phones, and/or other communication tools; coordinate with site contacts and public responders as directed.
  • Complete detailed written reports of patrol activities, incidents, and observations before the end of shift.
  • Support site emergency procedures such as evacuations, shelter-in-place, and accountability processes as directed by post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • This is primarily a driving post.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
