As a Security Officer - Resort Night Patrol in Washington, DC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a luxury hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol guest areas, entrances, and back-of-house spaces, helping to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will complete routine rounds, document observations, respond to guest and staff needs, and communicate clearly with teams on site. Why Join Us: What You'll Do: - Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a hotel and resort location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including guest disturbances, medical calls, fire alarms, and other property-related issues.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout guest corridors, lobbies, back-of-house areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and service entrances, verifying credentials and/or permissions for employees, vendors, and contractors in accordance with site procedures.
- Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and unusual conditions, escalating concerns through the chain of command as required.
- Provide guidance and directions to guests, assist with lost and found procedures as assigned, and support guest service teams while maintaining a professional presence.
- Assist with crowd management during hotel events, conferences, and peak arrival and departure times, helping to maintain orderly movement in public areas.
- Complete required reports such as incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation with clear, timely, and accurate details.
- Support emergency response activities including evacuations, shelter-in-place procedures, and coordination with local first responders as directed by site leadership.
- Operate and/or monitor security-related equipment such as radios, key control systems, access control devices, and CCTV as assigned by post orders.
Minimum Requirements: - - Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
- - A guard card/license is preferred.
- - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
