Job Description




As a Security Officer - Armed Dispatch Full-Time in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will support daily operations by coordinating communications and responding to incidents as needed. This is an armed post, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through teamwork, exceptional service, and upholding the highest standards of integrity in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Operate as a dispatch officer in an aerospace and defense environment, monitoring and coordinating communication between security-related personnel and site operations.
  • Respond promptly and calmly to incidents and critical situations, using problem-solving skills to address and document each event.
  • Follow site-specific procedures and policies when handling routine and emergency communications.
  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors, addressing inquiries and directing them as needed.
  • Monitor security-related systems, such as alarms and surveillance cameras, and dispatch appropriate personnel to respond to incidents.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed logs of all communications, incidents, and dispatch activities.
  • Assist with the coordination of emergency response actions and notify appropriate Allied Universal management and/or client contacts as required.
  • Collaborate with on-site security-related teams to help to deter unauthorized activities and support a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by the client.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
