What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and assigned security-related procedures, including emergency response activities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of office areas, common spaces, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards, suspicious behavior, and policy violations.
• Monitor access control points and security-related systems such as alarms, visitor logs, and badge procedures, and report issues in accordance with site guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance, coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders, and documenting actions taken.
• Complete timely patrol logs and incident reports, communicate findings to supervisors and site stakeholders, and support a professional environment within a technology and media location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
