As a Security Officer - Industrial Roving Patrol in East Camden, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support site operations through clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in an industrial manufacturing setting.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reports of suspicious activity, alarms, and/or operational disruptions.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations.
  • Control access at gates, entrances, and/or checkpoints by verifying identification, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining entry and exit logs according to site requirements.
  • Monitor cameras, alarm panels, and/or other security-related systems, and report irregular conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
  • Complete detailed shift reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, noting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or unusual activity and escalating per post orders.
  • Perform vehicle and/or foot patrols, checking doors, windows, and restricted areas for signs of tampering, forced entry, and/or unsecured conditions.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, including coordinating with site personnel and local responders during fire, medical, weather, and/or other emergencies.
  • Enforce location rules regarding parking, deliveries, and restricted zones, using de-escalation techniques and requesting assistance when needed.
  • Maintain a professional presence and provide directions and assistance while communicating clearly with site personnel, drivers, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • - A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • - A guard card/license is preferred.
  • - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • - A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
