As a Security Officer in Flower Mound, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine patrols to help spot and report security-related concerns. You will maintain a visible presence, support access points, and deliver strong customer service through clear communication with employees, visitors, and team members. Why Join Us: What You'll Do: - Provide customer service to clients, guests, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access points and help manage authorized entry by checking identification, issuing temporary badges, and/or verifying access permissions in accordance with site procedures.
- Screen and route visitors, contractors, and deliveries to the appropriate destination while maintaining required logs and following site entry protocols.
- Monitor cameras, alarm panels, and/or other security-related systems, and report unusual activity according to post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting evacuations, medical response requests, and/or coordination with local emergency services when directed.
- Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and/or property damage by maintaining a high-visibility presence and promptly reporting suspicious activity.
- Document routine activity, patrol observations, and incident details in daily activity reports and/or incident reports using required systems and formats.
- Conduct checks of doors, gates, loading areas, and/or restricted rooms to verify they are secured according to site procedures and report concerns to site contacts.
- Support technology-focused operations by observing for tampering, unauthorized photography, and/or improper access to sensitive work areas, and escalating concerns through the chain of command.
- Provide direction and assistance during traffic and/or pedestrian movement periods, including supporting parking areas and delivery vehicle staging when applicable.
- Communicate professionally with Allied Universal leadership, site representatives, and/or responding authorities, relaying accurate details and following post orders.
Minimum Requirements: - Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- This is primarily a driving post.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
