As a Security Officer - Retail Driver Rounds in Roseville, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail mall location, you will complete routine patrols, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide top-tier customer service through clear communication. Why Join Us: What You'll Do: - Provide customer service to clients, tenants, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail and mall location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disputes, medical situations, and property-related concerns.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the mall interior, common areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas, assisting with access control and observing for suspicious or unusual behavior.
- Write detailed incident reports and daily activity logs, documenting observations, actions taken, and communications.
- Provide directions and general assistance to shoppers and tenants while maintaining a professional presence.
- Communicate with mall management, tenant representatives, and local emergency services as needed, relaying accurate information during incidents.
- Assist with crowd management during peak shopping periods, promotions, and special events, helping to maintain orderly movement of guests and vehicles.
- Observe and report maintenance issues, hazards, and property damage, notifying appropriate personnel for follow-up.
- Support loss prevention and mall policy compliance by observing, reporting, and coordinating response with authorized personnel when needed.
Minimum Requirements: - - A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- - Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- - Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- - A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- - CPR certification is preferred.
- - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
