What to Expect The manufacturing automation development engineering team is looking for an extremely organized and detail-oriented procurement specialist to support project hardware procurement strategies and processes. The procurement specialist works within a cross-functional team of engineers and engineering technicians to procure hardware against project deadlines, track purchase orders, follow up with vendors on lead times and deliveries, receive, organize, and prepare materials for equipment builds. You will interact with vendors to select the best pricing and lead time in accordance with project budgets and timelines, and to ensure on time delivery of components. The procurement specialist will also work closely with our shop planner to pick up, receive, organize, and store materials in preparation for project builds, and to maintain our inventory system.
