What You'll Do
- Rapidly diagnose and solve manufacturing issues related to Optimus bots and the equipment used to build them (mechanical, electrical /electronics, and firmware) to meet manufacturing takt time requirement
- For product issues, review clips and CAN data using CANAPE/PCAN Explorer, run firmware routines, and debug electronics via scoping and probing
- For equipment issues, review schematic and drawings, perform electrical measurement, develop and execute effective fixes
- Document issues, track trends, and report metrics to inform design improvements
- Support launch and commissioning of new manufacturing automation equipment
- Initiate repair requests with technicians to follow through the fix
- Validate repairs by running software routines and build up the product service manual by documenting diagnosis and repair procedures
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting and repair of hardware systems
- Utilize debugging tools such as multimeters, soldering tools, and oscilloscopes
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and firmware engineering to implement improvements
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Controls, or Mechatronics, or equivalent industry experience
- Proven proficiency in product and equipment issue diagnosis and fix
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical systems
- Familiarity with debugging tools such as multimeters, soldering tools, and oscilloscopes
- Experience in electrical control panel schematic and layout
- Experience with AI robotic systems, manufacturing automation control and testing equipment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Expected Compensation
$156,000 - $276,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
