In the Philadelphia region, GTB is responsible for managing the advertising (both traditional & digital), creative, strategy, analytics, and more for the Philadelphia Region's Tier 2 Ford clients (aka Your Local Ford Store). The "Your Local Ford Store" brand represents 100+ Ford dealerships spanning from South Jersey, to Delaware, Philadelphia, and Harrisburg, up to Scranton.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Account Manager, Client Engagement is a key member of the GTB Philadelphia Account Services team and works under the direction of the Associate Account Director, Client Engagement. This job is remote out of the Greater Philadelphia area. While this role is remote, it does require the candidate to be physically located in the Greater Philadelphia area and to have access to reliable transportation.

The primary responsibility of the Account Manager is to manage the day-to-day functions of Your Local Ford Store's advertising, sponsorship management, internal communications, and more.

The Account Manager will work within a multi-disciplined team in a client-facing role which provides extensive autonomy. The candidate for the Account Manager role should possess a "can-do" attitude, and a self-starter mindset, who is always eager to learn more and ask questions often getting deep into the technical details.

The role may require some overnight local/regional travel with the Team and Clients, as needed, including, but not limited to events/sponsorships, client meetings, dealerships, client outings, and more.

PRIMARY ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Ongoing and frequent interactions with the agency teams, clients, external/internal partners and vendors.

    • Internal to Agency - the AM has daily contact with and provides clear project direction on deliverables and timelines to all team members in Client Engagement, Creative, Business Ops, Media, Data & Analytics, Traffic, and Production departments.
    • External to Agency - the AM has contact with partners regarding contracted assets for client sponsorships and promotions, as well as provides regular updates for dealer clients as needed and regular communication with the Ford Regional Office and aligning with Ford Motor Company objectives.
    • Monthly travel to Board meetings and occasional travel throughout the Philadelphia Region as noted in the Position Summary.
    • Monthly meeting preparation which could include, but is not limited to, deck prep, venue coordination, meeting setup, and client hospitality as needed.
    • Develops relationship with clients and ongoing management of their expectations and needs.
    • Proactively identify opportunities based on key insides to enhance advertising plans, activations, sponsorship, marketing plans, and processes to deliver results for clients.




OTHER ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Manage internal processes including the creative production process, trafficking of advertisements, management of digital and traditional media plans, assisting AAD & Business Manager with budgets, and keeping all aspects of the account organized.
  • Review and update status trackers and internal reports.
  • Ad-hoc reviews and updates of various internal platforms tracking various metrics and data.
  • Facilitate special requests as needed (internal agency and client information requests).
  • Maintain and support all company standards as specified within the Quality Management System.
  • Supports/facilitates the mandatory adherence to ISO9001 requirements, processes and procedures.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.


KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS



  • Be knowledgeable of Microsoft Suite of products, primarily Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience/knowledge of digital and social media campaigns and the nuances associated with those tactics from planning, implementation, and measurement of performance.
  • Must be creative, analytical, and highly organized.
  • Knowledge of Ford's products and services offerings.
  • Knowledge of the ever-changing, and complex automotive landscape.
  • Strong project management experience is required.
  • Possess a keen eye for detail with tremendous organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Deliver clear, concise, and accurate messages; both written and verbally.
  • Naturally inquisitive with the desire to learn more.


MINIMUM & PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years minimum of relevant advertising, marketing, communication, media, automotive, or agency experience.
