Communications Manager - JLL

What this job involves:

Join our team as a Communications Manager specializing in large-scale, multi-service account communications spanning 30+ million square feet across 350+ sites in the US and Canada [Source: JLL Job Description Template.docx]. This strategic role requires specialized expertise in communications strategy development and execution, combining advanced creative capabilities with business acumen to drive engagement across multiple platforms. You'll interpret complex business challenges, develop innovative solutions, and lead projects to enhance our brand presence while building cohesion within a newly formed 700-person team.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies that address complex business challenges and drive measurable engagement outcomes across web pages, presentations, newsletters, videos, and marketing materials
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, managing timelines and budgets for high-impact communication initiatives including town halls, training programs, and executive meetings * Pioneer adoption of emerging communication technologies and design trends, establishing innovative approaches that differentiate our services
  • Create sophisticated, user-friendly templates and presentation frameworks that enhance global team collaboration while mentoring colleagues on best practices
  • Oversee complex design and upload processes for all project materials, establishing content management best practices
  • Execute and optimize targeted communications to employees and stakeholders, interpreting business metrics and recommending strategic improvements
  • Create and maintain the account's SharePoint page, serving as the primary communication platform and centralized repository for forms and templates

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in Design, Art, Marketing, Writing, Business Administration, Social Communications, or equivalent work experience with portfolio of work and references required
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and expert-level Microsoft Office skills with advanced PowerPoint and SharePoint customization capabilities
  • Specialized expertise in communications strategy with ability to work independently on complex initiatives requiring innovative solutions
  • Proven project management and team leadership experience with track record of managing moderate resource allocations
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with ability to influence and negotiate across organizational levels
  • Strong business acumen with experience aligning communication strategies with commercial objectives *
  • Cultural sensitivity and proven effectiveness in global, remote environments with diverse teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • User Experience (UX) design expertise and HTML email design and creation experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in a communications role
  • Experience with animation and video production tools * Website and landing page design experience
  • Familiarity with social media and internal communication tools like Nudge and Teams
  • Analytical mindset with ability to measure communication effectiveness and optimize strategies based on performance data
  • Demonstrated mentoring and staff development capabilities with experience establishing replicable processes

Estimated compensation for this position:

120,000.00 - 150,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
