We are looking for an exceptionally energetic Weighmaster to work at our Development Fill Site location.

Hours: 6am - 6pm, candidate needs to be flexible to work over-time and various hours when needed.

Essential Functions (Including but limited to)

  • Learn and operate Griffith Company proprietary software
  • Weigh incoming and outgoing trucks loaded with dirt
  • Provide administrative support with regards to electronic filing, scheduling seminars, ordering office supplies, keeping office trailer clean, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience

  • Previous experience with weighing trucks is preferred (or in a working scale house environment)
  • Previous construction experience preferred
  • Familiarity with CB radio
  • Excellent computer skills
  • OSHA 10 Certification preferred
  • 1 year of administrative experience
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Proficiency in speaking and comprehending English and Spanish

Education

Minimum of High School diploma

Physical Requirements
  • Most time spent in an scale house environment
  • Sitting at a desk for prolonged periods of time
  • Occasional lifting of files and boxes up to 20 lbs
  • Pushing/pulling of file cabinets
  • Extended visual use of a computer screen
  • Frequent typing

Hourly Range: $22-$25

Relocation assistance will be provided to candidates outside of the local area on a case-by-case basis.
