Valiant is looking for a Counter Fire Specialist to join our team! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Receive record and execute all Counter-Fire mission data using graphic user interfaces (GUIs) on a "Windows" based computer system. Act as the interface between the Fire Support system and the Fire Markers in the field. Must be able to maintain detailed records of all data. Must possess the ability to communicate over assigned radio using proper military communications procedures. Must be able to work alternating 12 hour shifts which include nights and weekends during training rotations. Other duties as asssigned. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Active Secret. EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: High School Diploma. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Basic computer skills and six months experience in the JRTC Fire Support cell. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Must be able to travel unaccompanied to continental US and foreign locations. Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening; will be subject to random drug screening. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Secret security clearance. Familiar with Microsoft Office PowerPoint and P25 Radio system. Possess typing skills. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending, and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees.
