Your role
As the Regional Service Sales Manager at Atlas Copco, within our Vacuum Technique Service Division, you will lead our ambitious efforts in North America to establish ourselves as the foremost industrial vacuum service provider. You will play an essential leadership role as part of the local management team collaborating closely with the Business Line Manager Service and Operations manager to drive sustainable growth. Your core focus will be to expand service sales revenues by inspiring and managing a dedicated team of service sales engineers. You will develop a proactive business model that emphasizes customer success and engagement across your teams. Your responsibilities will include formulating and executing strategic plans to achieve significant and profitable growth, while fostering a culture of high customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Directly oversee the performance and development of the service sales team, ensuring clear role definitions and the right skillsets are in place to meet organizational goals.
- Invest in talent acquisition and retention, nurturing a pipeline of sales professionals capable of delivering outstanding results and embedding our service values.
- Align your team closely with the overarching Vacuum Technique Service division's strategy, processes, and tools, acting as a local champion for knowledge sharing and training to promote service product and plan sales expertise.
- Continuously monitor key performance indicators such as profitability, growth metrics, forecasting accuracy, and customer satisfaction to inform corrective actions.
- Collaborate intensively with Business Line Managers in Industrial Vacuum equipment to ensure seamless integration of solutions and mutually supportive strategies.
- Drive development of all service sales channels, both direct and indirect, enhancing market reach and customer engagement.
- Lead negotiations for major service plans within your region, ensuring competitive pricing aligned with market intelligence and organizational objectives.
- Be the primary escalation point for regional business issues, ensuring optimal business line performance and resolving challenges effectively.
- Champion a safe and healthy working environment as an uncompromising priority within your team and operations.
- Manage travel commitments up to 50% of your time to foster relationships across our broad service network.

Experience
- Strategic and conceptual ability to lead and grow a service business, with a proven record in service support and service sales.
- Strong commercial awareness.

- Strong computer skills (SAP, MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
