About the Role

We're looking for a Process Engineer to join our growing foundry engineering team and support the development, optimization, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. In this hands-on role, you'll work closely with senior engineers, production, and quality teams to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and cost performance across foundry operations.

What You'll Do

  • Support development and optimization of foundry processes including molding, melting, pouring, heat treating, and finishing.
  • Collect and analyze process data to identify opportunities for quality, yield, and efficiency improvements.
  • Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Assist with documentation of process changes, work instructions, and manufacturing standards.
  • Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to reduce scrap and maintain customer requirements.
  • Support process audits, inspections, and ISO and customer quality initiatives.
  • Assist with tooling and process troubleshooting on the production floor.
  • Participate in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Work under the mentorship of senior engineers to develop skills in casting processes, tooling, and process control.



What We're Looking For

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or 3-5 years of relevant foundry or manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with dry sand, green sand, permanent mold, or investment casting product lines.
  • Knowledge of process improvement methods, tooling design, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in both office and foundry environments.
  • Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Salary: The anticipated annual salary range is $65,000 to $85,000, based on education, experience, and demonstrated skills.

Hours Per Week: 40-45 hours
