Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Burr Ridge, IL. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• Sort and deliver all incoming and outgoing mail
• Receive, log, and deliver packages from all carriers and logistic companies
• Provides shipping instructions and routing information; confirms and coordinates delivery times, including preparation of the bill of lading for trucks
• Schedule pickup and delivery of large equipment that requires special needs or attention (crating and special shipment required for large equipment)
• Prepare packages and process airway bills for UPS, FedEx, and USPS throughout the day
• Process and package cylinders for safe shipment transits
• Expertise in postal regulations, as well as shipping goods and equipment
• Verifies that outgoing deliveries meet company quality and safety standards, and that documentation matches and has the appropriate signatures
• Receives and records new inventory as it is delivered; inspects and stores it accordingly
• Conducts physical inventory and replenishes stock and inventory as needed.
• Ensures that all stock is stored in the correct locations in the warehouse
• Coordinates and schedules the movement of products throughout the warehouse, including storage and shipment of finished products
• Maintains detailed and accurate work records
• Builds and maintains relationships with internal and external customers and provides efficient service
• Safely operates forklift trucks as needed
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics coordination.
• Minimum 3 years of inventory management experience, including receiving and inspecting new stock.

• Ability to manage and coordinate a variety of shipping methods
• Ability to perform multiple tasks and a variety of duties
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company terminology
• Thorough understanding of warehouse procedures and safety regulations
• Basic knowledge of all applicable state and federal OSHA regulations
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and UPS system.
