The Opportunity

Our team operates at the intersection of Adobe's Generative AI platform and advanced creative workflows. We focus on building custom, production-ready generative AI solutions that integrate naturally into modern media pipelines.

This is a highly autonomous, high-impact role with visibility across Adobe's product, research, and engineering organizations. You will help shape how generative AI capabilities are translated into practical, user-friendly experiences and workflows across the Adobe ecosystem.

Responsibilities

* Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines.

* Build intuitive, responsive, and performant frontend applications.

* Rapidly spin up prototypes that explore the commercial viability of capabilities invented by Adobe research teams.

* Cross-functionality work with research, design, platform, security, engineering, product, and leadership teams to quickly and reliably deliver breakthrough innovations to customers.

* Own prototypes, products, and features end-to-end, from conception and design through deployment and monitoring.

Core Requirements

* Expert proficiency in Python for backend systems and JavaScript for backend and frontend development, using modern frameworks to build, ship, and maintain reliable, high-quality software.

* Strong understanding of large language models and diffusion models, including training and inference trade-offs, with the ability to apply that knowledge to practical, scalable, customer-facing products.

* Experience working in lean, high-velocity product teams, taking ownership of features from initial concept and lightweight prototyping through delivery, with a clear focus on customer value.

* Clear and effective communicator and collaborator, able to work closely with product, design, and engineering partners to deliver impactful solutions.

* Comfortable with asynchronous work across a distributed team.

Bonus Qualifications

* Experience training and/or fine-tuning generative AI models.

* Experience with other programming languages such as C++

* Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud applications.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $159,200 -- $301,600 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $208,300 - $301,600
In New York, the pay range for this position is $208,300 - $301,600
In Washington, the pay range for this position is $190,200 - $275,400

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
