Weeks-to-value: compress multiyear builds into weeks with modern engineering andAIassisteddevelopment. Continuous deployment: ship, learn, and improvecontinuously-production is the classroom. Real customers: your users are Microsoft sellers and operators running the commercial engine. Startup velocity + enterprise impact: move fast, with the reach of Microsoft scale. Responsibilities Design, build, andshipnetnewinternal applicationssupporting Microsoft's global commercial planning and execution. Ownuserfacingfeaturesendtoend: problem framing, design, implementation, deployment, and iteration. Contribute tosystem design choicesand technical decisions for new builds. UseGenerative AI andAIassistedcoding toolsto accelerate delivery whilemaintainingahigh qualitybar. Operate what you build in production: monitor, debug, improve reliability and performance. Collaborate across engineering, product, design, and business stakeholders to turn operational needs into shipped software. Help evolvemodern development patterns(fast iteration, continuous deployment) through practice and execution. Qualifications Required/minimum qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. Additional or preferred qualifications Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
