The Role

This role sits within the Business Insights function but serves other business units (such as Players, Coaches, Facilities, Advocacy, and Sections) in a client-facing capacity. The Manager will act as a strategic partner, providing high-quality analytics and insights that inform business decisions, drive growth, and foster a data-driven culture across USTA. Success requires strong analytic aptitude and the interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

    Serve as the primary analytics partner for assigned business units (such as players, coaches, facilities, advocacy, sections).
  • Translate business questions into structured analyses and deliver actionable insights that inform strategy and execution.
  • Support target setting and measurement by identifying leading, lagging, and contributing metrics for each business area.
  • Conduct ad hoc and deep-dive analyses to uncover trends, opportunities, and risks in collaboration with.
  • Present findings and recommendations using compelling storytelling tailored to executive and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Research, Marketing, Digital, and other units to integrate insights into broader organizational strategies.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, consultants, and partners supporting data and analytics initiatives.
  • Ensure data integrity, and quality, across research, reporting and analytics deliverables.
  • Support the ongoing evolution of USTA's data culture by encouraging adoption of tools, best practices, and self-service capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to make insights accessible and impactful for decision maker
Who You Are
  • .Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 4+ years of experience in analytics, data modeling, or business insights.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex datasets.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners and influence decision making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience in client-facing or consultative roles strongly preferred.
  • Passion for the tennis or sports industry is a plus.
  • This position is designated as "hybrid/flex" in Orlando and may allow for both remote and on-site work. Any such position must meet the current USTA hybrid/flex requirements as updated from time to time. Please consult HR for the most current policy. This position is considered exempt

The expected range for the base salary for this position is $75,000 - $85,000. This range does not include any additional pay or benefits for which a person may qualify. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.
