Job Description

The Enterprise Crisis Management Lead Consultant is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing the crisis management framework across the organization. This role involves coordinating with various business areas to ensure effective planning, response, and recovery capabilities during crisis events. Key Responsibilities
  • Establish strategic partnerships with cross-organizational business areas (Business Continuity Management, Information Security, Physical Security, Emergency Response Teams, Supplier Management) to enhance coordination in planning, response, and recovery.

  • Engage with AoR Chief Risk Officers to identify and understand operational risks, escalate issues, and agree on solutions to achieve BCM, Resilience and CM strategy and roadmap for program maturity.

  • Ensure compliance with the Crisis Management Plan (CMP) and plan preparedness.

  • Assist the Enterprise Crisis Manager in developing and maintaining the crisis management framework enterprise-wide.

  • Design and facilitate exercises to test CM plans and capabilities.

  • Create and facilitate training and awareness programs for enterprise Crisis Management.

  • Act as part of the enterprise crisis management team, support enterprise crisis events, including response and recovery activities and documentation.

  • Interpret industry best practices and changes to associated regulations (e.g., ISO 22361).

  • Train organizational groups on the Crisis Management program and resilience, including consulting, building CM Plans, and facilitating AoR exercises.

  • Serve as a liaison between CM, stakeholders, and AoR/organizational groups.

  • Hold AoRs accountable to CM timelines and requirements.

  • Coordinate the activation and functioning of the enterprise Crisis Management Team.

  • Manage crisis management rosters and onboard new crisis members.

  • Support the development and delivery of training and test cases for enterprise resilience.

  • Monitor and report on the status and performance of critical business areas.

  • Develop and deliver crisis management training programs and exercise simulations.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements.

  • Support the onboarding of new crisis management team members.

  • Maintain training records and documentation.

  • Monitor and analyze potential threats, incidents, and crisis events.

  • Conduct after-action reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive incident management enterprise wide.

  • Support the development and execution of incident response plans and teams.

  • Assist with tool maintenance, innovation, and development.

Education

* 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Experience

* 5 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities

* This job does not have supervisory duties.

* In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is 90,700.00 - 153,925.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
