Cloud DevOps Engineer

Experience: 3-6 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Grafana dashboards integrating data from Splunk, Datadog, Jira, Git, and other sources
• Design and implement automated daily backup workflows for POS systems to Datacentre or Cloud (AWS/GCP/TTC)
• Use Ansible or similar automation tools to schedule, orchestrate, and validate backup tasks and come up with one-click solutions.
• Collect, categorize, and analyze metrics, logs, and events from multiple systems.
• Develop Python and Shell scripts for backup validation, health checks, and system automation
• Create one-click automation solutions that includes Linux servers/VMs and Cloud environments.
• Perform recovery testing, simulations, and failure validation.
• Troubleshoot issues across Linux systems, dashboards, automation workflows, and infrastructure layers
• Document dashboards inventory, data sources, automation workflows, and recovery procedures clearly

Primary Skills

• Experience handling large-scale Linux systems or virtual machines
• Strong Linux system knowledge
• Strong shell scripting skills & basic python scripting knowledge
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, IaC and automation workflows
• Strong hands-on in DevOps tools like Ansible, Gitlab CI etc
• Expert Hands-on experience with Grafana dashboard development and monitoring tools like Splunk, Datadog (queries, metrics, dashboards)
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or equivalent)
• Ability to monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement reliability improvements
• Basic networking knowledge and exposure to infrastructure provisioning is a plus

Agile & Jira Expectations

• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience working in sprints and Program Increments (PIs)
• Hands-on experience using Jira for story tracking, task breakdown, sprint execution, and status updates
