Overview Shift's Available: Nights Employment Type: Full Time Hours: 12-hour shift - 7:00pm to 7:00am Location: Providence Medical Center - Kansas City, KS A Hospital Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is a skilled healthcare professional responsible for delivering immediate medical care to patients experiencing acute illness or injury. Whether responding to inhospital emergencies, assisting with rapid patient assessments, or supporting emergency department staff, Hospital EMTs play a critical role in stabilizing patients and ensuring timely, effective medical intervention.
EMT assess patient conditions, administer basic life support measures such as CPR and wound care, and assist with safe patient transport within the facility or to higherlevel care areas when needed. Emergency Medical Technicians primary goal is to provide rapid stabilization and essential pretreatment support, ensuring that patients receive prompt, coordinated care in a fastpaced hospital environment.
