Description
Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Project Specialist to work on our Reactor Project Execution team. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out REC Facility in Idaho Falls, Idaho with every other Friday off. As a Project Specialist, you will provide oversight of all project controls for the department. You will ensure that proper project controls techniques are utilized in all projects in the Reactor Project Execution Department, observing the direction from the project managers and the business execution program manager. You will work closely with the project schedulers, PFCs, PCAs, and project managers to ensure the schedule, budget, and costs are managed. You will also work closely with the department business execution program manager to ensure that all projects in the department are managed following department guidelines for all aspects of a project, including scope, schedule, cost, milestones, and resources. Relevant Degree refers to a degree in: Construction Management, Programming, Project Management, Management, Engineering, Project Engineering, or another closely related discipline. Related Experience refers to professional experience that directly aligns with the responsibilities and requirements of the position. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance, which requires US Citizenship. Job Information:
Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this classification, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, bend and work in an office and field/laboratory environment. The job requires hand/finger dexterity to keyboard or type, handle materials, manipulate tools, and reach with hands and arms.
