Patient Service Coordinator - P2D, Maine Medical Center

Department: P2D - Maine Medical Center
Location: Bramhall Street, Portland, ME
Schedule: Fulltime, 5 eighthour shifts (Monday-Friday)
Remote Flexibility: Yes (hybrid options available)

Position Summary

Maine Medical Center is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to join our P2D team. In this vital role, you will support both patients and providers by managing complex scheduling needs and ensuring efficient office and administrative workflows. This role is essential to delivering a seamless and positive patient experience within our practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage complex patient scheduling for the practice.
  • Provide administrative and office support to providers and clinical staff.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, offering exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain accuracy of patient information and documentation in all relevant systems.
  • Support daily operational needs of the practice to ensure smooth and timely care delivery.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: Two years of administrative patient service experience.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficient computer skills.
