Responsibilities

Job SummaryUnder the direction of the Senior Director of Health and Wellness Operations this position is responsible for:Clinical and programmatic aspects of outpatient Women's Health which includes bladder health/urodynamics, heart health, bone health, mid-life/ menopause, and other women services as developed.Essential Touch Wellness Center therapy and retail sites, Prenatal Education program, community adult and children's education series, Medical fitness and Lifestyle medicine education.Collaborate with the Medical Fitness and Integrative Lifestyle Medicine Program
This position manages the strategy and aligns with the vision and values. Ensures financial accountability for these services, quality services based on best practice, and promotes excellent customer experience while meeting regulatory requirements in all areas.
Exhibits exceptional collaborative skills to inpatient, outpatient and community-based service areas. Collaborates with other service lines who oversee medical and clinical operations of women and children services. Also collaborates with other ancillary service departments who support women's health services (e.g. Breast Health Services, Heart and Vascular Service Line, Oncology Service Line, Diabetes Institute, Medical Fitness, Lifestyle Medicine, Mid-life Women's Clinic, strategic planning, marketing and finance, etc.)
Must be able to demonstrate the clinical knowledge and skills necessary for programmatic growth and development appropriate to the population and the clients and patients served in the community. The individual must demonstrate the ability to assess data reflective of the services offered and interpret the appropriate information needed to make appropriate changes to the programs provided.
Provides leadership within their areas of responsibility. Serves as tactical point person as it relates to services offered, staffing and staff development, physician relationships, quality initiatives, program development, marketing and system-wide success. Assures evidence-based programs by creating an environment that encourages the use of research in practice.
Develops and maintains open, honest, and mutually beneficial relationships with fellow managers, staff and the departments to which he/she provides service. Relationships will be maintained in a manner consistent with mission, values, and philosophies. Essential Functions
  • Plans, organizes and manages all related activities in an effective manner. Manages the current outpatient women's health programs, Essential Touch Wellness Center, Prenatal Education and community-based education. Works collaboratively with the Senior Director of Wellness and Health Operations to prepare clinical, tactical and strategic plans as well as design appropriate organizational structures for areas of responsibility i.e., women's health programs. Works collaboratively with marketing to ensure appropriate and timely exposure of women's health services, and programs, Essential Touch specials, community education and events. Works with webmaster to maintain and update women's service line, Essential Touch website. Builds professional relationships with physicians and creates alignments of mutual benefit to grow the service line, programs and services. Organizes and delegates work in an effective manner, for establishing appropriate time frames for completion of work. Provides the necessary leadership to ensure work results.
  • Manages the personnel assigned to the Essential Touch Spa, Prenatal Education. Interviews, selects, and recommends hiring of personnel for the Essential Touch Spa. Develops and counsels employees consistent with good human resources management practices and creates a work environment which encourages and allows participation in order to promote retention, productivity, employee safety and quality and an excellent customer experience while supporting HH's vision and values. Plans and conducts staff meetings and prepares and distributes minutes and other information to keep department informed on timely basis.
  • The incumbent plans, prepares, implements, monitors and controls assigned area's operational and capital budgets to include Essential Touch Spa, Prenatal Education, ensuring sound fiscal management consistent with the goals of the organization. The incumbent aligns with service line initiatives, contributes to the balance scorecard and is held financially accountability to ensure efficient day to day operations.
  • Ensures that areas of responsibility adopt a total quality improvement approach to its work that includes employee empowerment, use of data to oversee the areas, a philosophy of continual improvement, a customer-driven attitude, and a work methodology that maximizes error prevention. This responsibility includes developing and maintaining a complete quality monitoring system throughout the areas of responsibility.
  • Promote evidence-based programs by creating an environment that encourages the use of research in practice. Works collaboratively with the quality department, physicians and the IRB to ensure gender specific research for women's health is established, submitted and as needed facilitated through the Women's Diagnostic Center.
  • Complies with regulatory and accreditation requirements through completion of mandatory organizational education, DNV, Code of Conduct and compliance training.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree or 3 years' work-related experience in Business, Marketing, Public Health, and or Nursing - Required
  • Master's Degree - Preferred
