Job Description:

Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies. Participates in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines. Develops, identifies, and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build. Leads and implements manufacturing plans. Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements. Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices. Analyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions. Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost, or schedule. Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies, and concepts. Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems. Implements lean principles and technologies.

The Defense, Space & Security team is seeking Senior Experienced Manufacturing Engineers to support multiple programs in Hazelwood, MO

Position Overview: We are looking for Experienced Manufacturing Engineers with expertise in airplane subsystems, production readiness, and composite fabrication. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient production of our world-class aerospace products, including advanced platforms for our Fighter Jet programs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing processes for air vehicle subsystems.

* Ensure production readiness by identifying and mitigating risks, optimizing workflows, and enhancing operational efficiency.

* Support operations by streamlining processes, improving quality, and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers.

* Utilize data analysis and engineering principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

* Participate in design reviews and lead manufacturability and assembly decisions.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

* Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.

* 5 + years work-related experience with a Bachelor's degree OR 3+ years of work-related experience with a Master's Degree OR work-related experience with a PhD.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

* B.S. or higher in Aerospace, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.

* Composite Fabrication experience.

* Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers.

* Experience with 3D model-based instruction.

* Experience with any of the following: IVT, CREO, CATIA, NX, IPDM Teamcenter, MES, Gold, PrimeR, Aurora, VisVSA, DELMIA.

* VisMockup, ProModel, FlexSim, 3D Printed Parts, Moonshine Shop, Maker Space, ImDev, ICIDO, Multi-Monitor Collaborative Rooms, Enterprise Standard Gated Process.

* Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci).

* Experience with CINCOM.

* Experience reviewing and approving other engineers' work (installation plans, tool orders, line stock checks, etc.).
