The Transportation Business Unit is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator in Coeur d'Alene, ID.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly skilled team on impactful projects that shape communities. You'll bring value by managing key aspects of transportation projects, contributing to their success from start to finish.

What You'll Do Key Responsibilities:

As a Project Coordinator at DEA, you'll take ownership of a variety of responsibilities that are crucial to project success, including:

  • Client & Stakeholder Collaboration: Deliver outstanding customer service while working closely with internal and external clients to foster strong relationships.
  • Project Financial Management: Partner with project manager for cost forecasting, budget management, and financial reporting to ensure projects stay on track.
  • Contract & Change Management: Manage contracts, scope changes, and change orders, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.
  • Invoicing: Prepare project invoices and progress reports, including processing subconsultant invoices.
  • Data Compilation & Analysis: Support budgeting, accounting documentation, and data analysis to monitor financial health and project progress.
  • Document Preparation & Quality Control: Support for document deliverable preparation and quality reviews.
  • Team Collaboration: Seamlessly collaborate with internal teams, subconsultants, and clients, working on scope and fee development while tracking project status.
  • Meeting Coordination & Follow-Up: Organize project meetings, prepare agendas and summaries, and follow up on deliverables and action items.
  • Tracking & Auditing: Ensure contract and task orders are monitored, scope and budget adherence is maintained, and quality audits are performed as scheduled.
  • Support Project Managers: Assist with accounts receivable (AR), unbilled (UB), cost-to-complete reports, and earned value reports (EVR).
What You Bring Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a project coordination role.
  • Expertise in Outlook, Word, Excel, and financial tracking.
  • Experience in customer service and/or quality control.
  • Familiarity with contracts, invoicing, and general accounting practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Self-Starter: Positive attitude with a high level of accountability.
  • Industry Experience: Background in architecture, engineering, or construction projects is a plus.
  • Proven experience managing scope, schedule, and budget for complex projects.
  • Expertise with SharePoint documentation and site administration.

* The posted salary range represents the typical range for this position and is provided in accordance with applicable state and local pay transparency laws. Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
