Are you a recent Accounting graduate who's eager to put your degree to work? Are you excited to learn, grow, and build a career-especially within the construction industry? We're looking for a Staff Accountant who brings curiosity, motivation, and a strong accounting foundation. Construction experience is not required-they're happy to train the right person who's ready to learn.

This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience across the full accounting cycle and is looking to grow into construction accounting, job costing, and project-based financial reporting while being part of a collaborative and supportive team.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Staff Accountant, you'll help keep their financial records accurate, organized, and compliant, while gaining exposure to construction-focused accounting practices. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing monthly balance sheets, income statements, and P&L reports
• Maintaining and reconciling the general ledger
• Reconciling bank accounts, payroll, accounts receivable, and disbursements
• Assisting with accounts payable, invoicing, and purchasing systems
• Supporting job costing and project-related accounting activities
• Assisting with annual audits and working with external auditors
• Preparing and filing federal, state, and local tax forms
• Supporting the Accounting Manager and Controller with day-to-day needs and special projects
• Learning and helping improve accounting software and internal processes

What We're Looking For

This role may be a great fit if you:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Are eager to learn, ask questions, and grow within the role
• Have a foundational understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
• Are comfortable using Excel, Microsoft Office, and accounting software
• Bring strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills
• Communicate well and enjoy working as part of a team-oriented environment
• Have an interest in building a career in construction accounting (job costing, project tracking, and financial reporting)

Prior construction accounting experience is not required-training will be provided.
