The Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and international markets. JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues. SPA provides critical decision support to enabling and executing a strategy of technological superiority and enabling the delivery and sustainment of secure, resilient, and preeminent capabilities to the warfighter quickly and cost effectively. Our team of experienced military, technical, and operations research analysts is skilled in evaluating military problems, identifying the driving factors, devising innovative approaches, collecting applicable data, developing necessary software tools, and performing thorough and timely assessments to inform technology and acquisition governance decisions to ensure U.S. military forces retain military superiority in the future. We have an immediate need for a USSF Military Operations Analyst to provide onsite support out of Arlington, VA. Responsibilities SPA seeks a former USSF/USAF service member with operations expertise to directly support the DARPA Director's Office, United States Space Force Liaison. Candidate will be a bridge-maker between DARPA senior staff/Program Managers and the Service, Combatant Command, and DoD/IC organizations to establish enduring relationships and create advocacy for DARPA technology. Responsibilities will include serving as a liaison between DARPA offices and USSF/NRO/USSC leaders, scheduling meetings for classified space program briefings, assisting in building slide decks and narratives to communicate program strategy, and calendar management. The successful candidate will provide operational counsel to ensure that DARPA senior staff and PMs are aware of DoD operational challenges, capability gaps, and current and future concepts of operations. Provide technical advice and recommendations on emerging military warfare and assist in determining the technology application to address military operations challenges while identifying relevant operational program concepts. Counsel and technical advice will be delivered through written analysis and presentations to support DARPA program transition to USSF/USSC/NRO. Qualifications Required:
