Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team. Job Title: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET). Location: Boston, MA. Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, Java, and Spring Boot.
  • Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality evaluation of FRFS services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop test strategies, plans, and define test cases based on requirements.
  • Analyze test results, triage issues, and document defects, working closely with development teams on resolution.
  • Debug code alongside developers to identify root causes and shift from corrective to preventative actions.
  • Perform performance testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, and DynaTrace to ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Execute integration testing to validate end-to-end functionality and seamless component interaction.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for test frameworks, plans, cases, and results.
  • Review application code for anti-patterns and best practices to enhance product quality.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of quality processes through innovative thinking and teamwork.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience with minimum seven years in software development and test automation (or exceptional skills if less experienced).
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages (Java, C#, Python) with experience in Spring/SpringBoot applications and full stack development.
  • Deep understanding of Cloud Architecture and AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, IAM, EBS, Aurora, KMS, Cloudwatch).
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation frameworks (Selenium, JUnit, Jenkins, Gitlab).
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with ability to analyze user stories/acceptance criteria.
  • Proven collaboration and communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Adaptability to thrive in fast-paced environments while managing multiple priorities in complex HA architecture.
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and microservices architecture (preferred).
