SummarySupports analysis of returned product for the determination of warranty disposition. Performs standard tests to assess product function and recommends/performs additional tests based on results. Supports engineering activities such as test, root-cause analysis, fabrication and assembly of electromechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, laser/light transmission devices or specialized test equipment. Applications may include mechanical assemblies, electronic circuits, high vacuum systems, high voltage systems, and X-ray producing equipment. Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions. Performs operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment. Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. Uses manufacturing, test, development or diagnostic equipment, including, but not limited to, test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators and specialized test apparatus. Job Description SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONS Experience Level with Business Tools Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired. Typically requires a minimum of 3 - 5 years of related experience ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Environment and Physical Demands Long periods of standing on hard floors Lifting of up to 25lbs Ability to use hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and power drills Indoor, controlled environment Employee must be able to meet the following requirements with or without an accommodation.
